Salary Range: $20.00 - $25.00 Hourly

Job Description:

Operation of a loaded commercial vehicle in transit to various local and/or regional locations.

 

Essential Functions:

  •  Comply with commercial operation rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking, and hours-of-service) as well as with company policies and procedures.

  • Inspect vehicles for mechanical defects and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance.

  • Safely load/unload product to/from trailers with a forklift, Moffett, or Donkey.

  • Secure product on trailers following company/Federal guidelines.

  • Collect and verify delivery instructions.

  • Plan routes and meet delivery schedules.

  • Transport finished goods and raw materials over land to and from our retail and distribution centers.

  • Document and log work/rest periods and time spent driving and retain fuel receipts.

  • Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions.

  • Report defects, accidents, or violations.

  • Submit all associated paperwork daily/weekly on time.

Education and Experience:

  •  At least 21 years old with a valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License

  • At least one year of recent verifiable commercial driving experience

  • Clear MVR with a zero point or plus point balance

  • Forklift, Moffett, or Donkey/Spider experience
