Record-Breaking Attendance at Our Multi-State Pesticide Recertification Event

More than 1,000 industry professionals joined us over two days for our largest pesticide recertification event to date, hosted by the Virginia Turfgrass Council, the W.S. Connelly Family of Companies, Landscape Supply, and Virginia Tech Turfgrass Science.

Attendees heard outstanding presentations from graduate and doctoral candidates from Virginia Tech, Penn State, and NC State, along with insights from Dr. David McCall and Dr. Mike Goatley of Virginia Tech and Robert Christian from VDACS. The program highlighted important research and real-world applications across a wide range of topics impacting our industry.

A special thank you to Tom Tracy and Beck Stanley of the Virginia Turfgrass Council for their tremendous effort coordinating the program and securing recertification credits across 15 states. We also appreciate the support of Eric Snelsire and Dani Fink from W.S. Connelly and Landscape Supply, along with the many companies, universities, and organizations that participated.

Please note that certificates of attendance will take time to process. Each state has different reporting requirements, and the Virginia Turfgrass Council team will be uploading and verifying Zoom attendance records for certification. With more than 1,000 participants, this is a significant undertaking.
