Job Description

The Sr. Financial Analyst will support strategic growth and lead our Business Intelligence efforts. The role is responsible for leveraging data analytics and BI tools to support PE-driven initiatives, provide advanced financial analysis, and guide senior leadership with data-backed insights. This role will also support our budgeting and forecasting processes, and perform ad hoc analysis as required by leadership.

 

Essential Functions:

  • Design, develop, and maintain dashboards and financial reports using BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker)

  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning initiatives with data-driven modeling.

  • Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends, variances, and improvement opportunities.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with different business units to understand reporting needs and translate them into technical requirements.

  • Automate and optimize existing financial reporting processes.

  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and develop metrics to guide business decisions.

  • Ensure data integrity and consistency across multiple systems and reports.

  • Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear, compelling manner.

  • Perform in-depth analysis to evaluate ROI and risk for organic growth and add-on M&A opportunities.

  • Conduct deep-dive cost and margin analysis; develop initiatives tied to operational efficiency and EBITDA improvement.

  • Uphold internal control standards and ensure compliance with GAAP and PE reporting requirements.

 

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or related field

  • 1-3 years in FP&A, business intelligence, or related field; experience in private equity-backed environments or corporate finance preferred.

  • Demonstrated experience in financial modeling — scenario analysis, M&A

  • Strong proficiency with Excel, Power BI/Tableau

  • Advanced skills in ERP/FP&A systems (e.g., Sage, NetSuite, Oracle, SAP,) and data warehousing

  • Excellent communication skills: able to translate data into clear stories for non-financial stakeholders.

  • Collaborative, detail-oriented, self-starter capable of managing multiple priorities in a PE-driven, fast-growth setting.

  • Experience in financial services, technology, or fast-paced environments

  • Understanding of GAAP and other regulatory financial standards
